WORK WITH ME
Many people move through life holding multiple roles that matter deeply to them, including professional responsibilities, creative interests, family roles, and inner identities that do not switch off just because one domain is demanding attention.
I’ve experienced this firsthand across my own career. Alongside senior leadership roles in government and academic appointments, I built creative and entrepreneurial businesses that were important to me. Each role made sense on its own. What became difficult was not the ambition itself, but the ongoing effort to keep parts of my life compartmentalized.
Over time, I began to notice that clarity did not come from narrowing my focus or chasing “balance.” It came from understanding how roles interact, which ones deserve to lead in a given season, and how the rest can work together rather than compete.
This way of thinking, what I now call Simultaneity, shifted how I approached work, creativity, and responsibility. It allowed for forward movement that felt more grounded, sustainable, and true to how my life actually works.
Today, this perspective shapes my work with others, helping people make sense of overlapping roles and design ways of living and working that feel integrated rather than divided.
When roles overlap, clarity matters.
